Would you go on vacation by yourself, and if so where would you go?

If I did it would have to be someplace where English is spoken. Traveling in another country is hard, and harder in another language and hardest alone and in another language. So I don't know where exactly, but that restricts where I would go.
Did you see the Harry Potter movie this weekend? Are you going to read the new book?
Nope, didn't see it and probably won't. Well maybe when it's on TV or something. Same goes for the new book.
I read the first book and saw the first movie and didn't really get into either, despite my love of witchy movies. With the movie, one of my pet peeves is using animation for human beings and not getting the physics right. Nothing bugs me more than seeing a person bounce like a rubber ball on screen. And while I know effects have gotten better, I still haven't seen it done that well.
But when it comes down to it I just can't get into the story. Sorry Potter fans, I can't jump on the train to Hogwarts.

Wow, this is almost embarrassing. I have to count:
3 yahoo accounts :
1 for personal
1 for anonymous personal
1 for work-related anonymous personal
1 work email
1 gmail account
2 personal domain-name accounts
1 school alumni account

8 accounts
And I used to also have an AOL account, a Hotmail account and a Netscape account, for work reasons. But still I would use them for other things.
I know I don't need all of these, and i can barely keep up sometimes, but it is what it is.

I don't think I can teach anything practical! OK, maybe #2 is practical.

How many TVs do you have in your house?
I have two. Since I live alone in a one bedroom apartment, there's really no need for two, but one is an old holdover that I didn't bother to get rid of that now lives in my bedroom. Having one in my bedroom means that I often fall asleep with it on. Luckily I've rediscovered my sleep timer so that it's not on all night, influencing my dreams.

I was in the band in high school.

Ha! Yep I sure have. Let's see...the Scunci steamer, the Ab Roller and most recently the RED Exerciser. What can I say, occasionally I'm in the mood to spend, and there these things are. I do usually do some web research before shelling out the dough. Sometimes it stops me, sometimes it reinforces my rationalizations.

I just found $20 and a BART ticket, which seems completely unscathed! The true test will come the next time I take the train

A nice cup of strong black tea with milk and sugar always hits the spot. I may go get a cup right now!
